Today felt like day 14, but is only day two! I didn't have any refined sugar, and my sugar cravings weren't as bad as yesterday! I still ate more than usual, which is a bad habit of mine while I am stressed.
For breakfast, I had 2 cups of coffe with milk, a protein shake, and two fruit bars. I also had some sugar free gum while I was studying. For lunch I had some crackers, a whole wheat roll, and green beans with mustard. Then, for a snack, I had a pear and another whole wheat roll.
For dinner, after a workout, I had some frozen blueberries, lemon water, and lots and lots of mandarins. I was feeling a little sick it definietly gave me the vitamin boost I needed.
How I feel: I felt a lot less energized and motivated while working out today (I didn't work out for about 1 1/2 weeks). I felt drained after a little cardio and a little strength training, but I am still glad I went to the gym :)
I feel like I did better than yesterday, though, which makes me happy! I also ate a lot while I wasn't hungry, so here are my goals for tomorrow:
-avoid artificial sweeteners like the aspartame in the sugar free gum
-only eat when I am hungry
-eat smaller and more meals
-eat more balanced (protein, vitamins, minerals)
I hope I improve my eating some more tomorrow! I feel like I will slowly keep improving, and incorporating more wholesome and healthy meals into my diet. I don't have any particular special recipe for you today, but tomorrow I am going to try one I am exited about and report back to you!
